SO yesterday is my bachelors day. Ahak. Bachelorrrr lah sangat. The thing is, Emi's husband go outstation for 10 days so she asked me and Siti to stay for a night at her house. Any term can replace the bachelor word? :p We know that staying without do nothing is totally boring so we decided to bake something. I have tried this out for 2 times, now Im praying so hard the lasagna will be succeed!
We left office at 5.30 pm. Reached Emi's home at 6 kot. Masing-masing bergelimpangan as if we have too much work lepas tu mata layan Asian Food channel. Padanlah muka terus lapar - laju-laju pergi dapur - capai segala bahan dan mula memotong. Semangat memasak tiba-tiba datang.
The kitchen was abit small and all of us have our own task. Siti handle the onions, tomatoes, Emi and me handle the cooking. Emi opens the back door, so I saw a lady keep eyeing on us from her kitchen in front of Emi's house. Maybe she kinda weird what those girls do sampai memasak pun kemain berjemaah? Haha.
It was pretty good. I love our togetherness in the making of lasagna. We also altered the meet sauce recepi, sebab tawar kan. Add this and that, then the flavour turns out great!
When it comes to prepare the lasagna sheets, thats my worry. Emi helped alot since she was a big fan of food channel - maka selalulah watch mat salleh prepare westerns. "Tambah minyak!" Okay. The sheets was cooked just nice and it doesn't stick to each other. I siap-siap potong dengan riangnya mengikut saiz bekas. Lalala dalam dapur. Hehe.
We're done at 8 something then rushed for Maghrib prayer. We got special guests - Emi's parents! Maka mereka pun merasa lah..... terasa lapar gila jugak! Bantai makan pelan-pelan atas meja bar Emi. Fuuuh. Nasib baik jadi.

Masak sama-sama baru tahu kegemaran masing-masing. Siti cepat muak maka solusinya adalah kena buat pedas lagi (maybe kena letak capsicum), Emi suka first batch sebab lembik2 panas makan sedap. Me suka rasa yang first, tapi suka texture yang second sebab bila potong masih padat dan tak jatuh.
The first batch dah selamat pun dalam perut semalam. Me and Siti planned nak sahur, sekali bangun pukul 5.30 pagi, baru nak masuk suap ketiga lasagna second batch dah azan! Tak dapatlah nak menikmati lagi sekali. Tapi xpe. We will return to Emi's house after work and bring the lasagna home. Boleh makan masa berbuka nanti, insyaAllah.
Thats my day. And it was a great day yesterday.
