 Tiada jalan singkat untuk sampai ke suatu destinasi yang sememangnya jauh.
Perjalanan tetap melibatkan langkah demi langkah, tingkat demi tingkat.


Untuk mencapai seorang 'aku' yang benar-benar 'aku',
bukan semudah itu.

Software's Training : ArchiCAD

QUICK update.
Was actually having ArchiCAD training at ArAH.
The training should be 4 days in total, so this is the first day.
9.30 am - 5.30 pm, stop during lunch break.
Quite full with lessons but actually enjoy doing it!

5 iMac's + 2 trainer lappies... this is how it looks coz we don't

have enough space.

The knowledge never stop... even after you've graduated, it doesn't mean you have master 'em all. (AH²)

It's already 8 months!

I ADMIT that I have very low memory.
But I want to recall the date I came back to this company.
*Open up the calendar, browsing previous months, February - January - Zazz - June 2011*


Yes. It's on June I decided to work right after Terang Architectural Workshop.
Supposed they call me to come somewhere in May but I have explained that I was involved in the event. Fortunately the architecture industry and chemistry we have - Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM), Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) and architecture schools; we know our event so well. Thats why they easily accept my excuse to start work at the end of June.


Lets do some summary what I have learned for this ...... (counting) ehhem? (counting again...) ............................................... 8 MONTHS of working! Seriously 8 months? WOW!! How times flies!

Flashback


June - Project brief regarding public-privatization-project (PPP) of Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia for Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. The proposed site is in Bandar Enstek, Nilai. We have to prepare the schematic design proposal knowing that we are actually compete with other company to get the job. By the time we have to come out with 3 alternative masterplans, I was given a renovation project named Azizah's House located in Taman Danau Kota, Setapak. Two projects run at one time.

            As I was new to the office, I need to undergo 3 months of training before I can proceed as permanent staff. Typical office system.


July - Our life is in front of the computer most of the time. Hitting the mouse so hard, combining colored lines. The basic skills we got to have and should be expertise (at least) using the AutoCAD software (2D), SketchUp (3D). From computer I move aside to the A0 butter paper, sketch out the 3 alternative masterplans for LPM, for this one we do together as a team.


August - It is Ramadhan. Less meetings, more progress on the drawing and masterplans. Changes on the office hour - 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.


September - Raya. More holidays, less working days. The projects get back on track. More focus on LPM - prepare panel boards, get those sketches transferred into computer.  Got more meetings. For sure, make new network with new people.


October - Prepare for LPM's presentation (KSU meeting) which will be held very soon. And yayy! I officially have become permanent staff in ArAH Design! Of course, my payslip does changed! ;D

               - ISO meeting have been conducted. Our company is going into ISO.


November - LPM's presentation. Got another project - BTHO apartments. Have to come out with 2 alternatives. Again, manually sketch, and get the things inside the computer quickly.

              *Faster fill up Graduate Architect's application forms. The second step need to do right after received your architecture degree scroll.
              *Send my Graduate Architect's application to LAM along with prays.


December - More updated software was introduced and purchased by the company - AutoCAD 2012 for Mac, SketchUp Pro, inc Vray. We are forced to use iMac 100%, no more Dell.

               - Try so hard to utilize the KulSubmission (DBKL) - online submission system.
               - Effective month to apply all the ISO requirements and procedures. P/S: Work is getting serious. Yes, ISO is very serious business. It is about management.


January - Prepare submission drawings for Azizah's House. Discussion meeting with client and engineers. The company have purchased another new software - ArchiCAD. I'm falling in love with it!! So flexible and makes our work much easier! Got ArchiCAD trainings. Started to use Artlantis as the second 3D software after SketchUp.

              *ALHAMDULILLAH! Officially has become Graduate Architect approved by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia! My registered number is AG/A 458. Lucky numbers uh? =p One step closer to be the real architect. Have to undergo minimum 2 years of working experience before taking part 3 exams. Pray for the best.


February - Went to DBKL for some enquiries. Drawing's rejected. Now back to design development.

             *We have conducted the Internal Audit for ISO. Unfortunately, I got 1 NCR because I didn't fill up the design brief form properly. :'(

             When the auditor asked me about the Azizah's House project, somehow I recall back what I have done for the past 8 months. Yes, I can say that Azizah's House progress have portrayed my 8 months of work performance. From the very rough sketches, it is now have been printed and to be submitted soon. Yet to be approved. And then? Construction will begin. That would be my first baby and my touch being constructed :)
              Along the way I praised to ALLAH for giving me such beautiful opportunities to learn and explore. He gave me good people to guide me; kind bosses, nice and helpful officemates, we work in a very good working environment. Even the fees wasn't so much, at least I'm happy.


             ..... The more you believe in Him, the stronger you become.

monologue : more to myself

And we don't live to impress anyone.


Don't you? Or yes? To impress. 

Oh? Maybe it is not exactly to impress, just to let people notice you. Is it?

I don't know what says you. We are different from head to toe. Different physically, inside out. Everyone comes with different agenda as their reason to live and to be accept in the society. Whatever it is, be yourself. You don't need to pretend and keep showing that you are the best among all - to what extent, you don't know.

Having said, i am still. 

The quieter, the better.

Kembali Mencari Redha-Mu

Duit boleh dicari,
tapi keberkatan Ilahi?


          Ba ra kaf ta. Berkat. Berkatnya duit itu bergantung kepada cara anda menggunakannya. Semakin nak disimpan, semakin banyak juga yang keluar. Takpun.. semakin disimpan, sekali keluar, haa kau. Sekelip mata duit keluar macam air. Banyak pulak tu. Kalau jadi camtu macam mana? Maknanya tak berkat? Berkat atau tak berkat sebab kita rasa ragu-ragu. Kita terus berfikir dan berfikir sama ada duit itu telah dilaburkan pada jalan yang betul atau tidak.


          Mesti banyak kali rasa macam ni kan?
          Duit tu kalau hilang sekelip mata, mula garu kepala. Makan tak kenyang, tidur tak lena. Takde duit pun jadi masalah! Begitu sekali penangan duit.


Sekadar berkongsi.
          Semalam the other half of me berhajat nak buat facial treatment di NYSS (New York Skin Solutions). Dia dah mendaftar masa NYSS buat promotion beli voucher RM10 dan dapat free package 3 in 1 (consultation, treatment and free travel kit product). Siap si kawan ni buat appointment lah nak try kan. Actually dia daftar 2 promotion; satu NYSS satu lagi Yun Nam. Dua2 promotion voucher RM10 je (je). Untuk permulaan dia nak try voucher NYSS. So esoknya jam 11 pagi seperti yang dijanjikan, dia pun pergi la ke NYSS cawangan Festival City KL (you must know where it is). Sebelum ni jalan-jalan situ memang tak pandanglah. For her the place so exclusive sampai takut nak masuk (no reason nak masuk pun) tapi kali ni atas sebab voucher tu kan. She was welcomed by two Chinese ladies. Dorang mintak IC and the voucher. After they key in the infos, one of the staff suruh masuk satu bilik kecil untuk sesi consultation. Kat situ dia tanya dulu, whats your skin problem. Lepas dah cakap sekian, sekian, staf tu keluar dan sorang staf lagi masuk. This time the staff is actually the service consultant lah. She's the one yang akan scan muka tengok apa masalah.


            At first the session went well. She will draw the section of a skin and tells you whats actually happen to your skin. Time ni memang best lah pasal we already know our skin type and all the sensitiveness. Pastu bila dah setel bab consult, she will move on to the next section iaitu sesi memberitahu the amount of your treatment. Bukan voucher RM10 tu tau! Totally different. The amount is RM580, inclusive special treatment, 1 free set of NYSS product (botol besar - according to your skin problem). She told that the RM580 is only for that time.. promotion, to upgrade from the voucher. Pastu my friend ni pun cakap taknak, but the staff PUJUK sampai she said yes but to pay half of it. RM300 for starting in order to get the promotion RM580 tu kononnya. So the consultant tu pun ok, siap cakap bayar baki RM280 after 2 weeks. Gila kan? My friend masa tu only have RM540 je in her bank account. Itu je duit makan, duit minyak kete, duit simpanan bla bla, semua kat situ.


             My friend bagi kad bank (bukan kredit kad) untuk staf tu tolakkan RM300. Lepas tu dia pun keluar lah, ingatkan boleh proceed untuk treatment, pasal staf tu dah janji RM300 tu boleh dapat treatment yang dah upgrade dengan 1 botol moisturizer. Tiba-tiba another staff call her masuk dalam bilik tu balik. Guess what? She tries to persuade you to pay the other RM280 straightaway! My friend dah cakap tak nak, the consultant paksa jugak. Dia cakap dia adalah consultant dari NYSS cawangan lain, datang sini sekejap-sekejap, tapi my friend ni kira bernasib baik sebab jumpa dia n dia boleh tolong untuk dapatkan pakej yang bagus tapi harus dibayar penuh! My friend pun pusing-pusing cakap duit dalam bank tak cukup, sampai consultant tu says ok bayar sikit je lagi, tak penuh pun takpa. Dia boleh check kan duit dalam bank kawan saya tu ade berapa. My friend agreed and give her bank card (again). Guess what? Cina tu pegi tolak terus RM200 (padahal nak check je kan, dia cakap tadi?) and baki dalam bank now is only RM40. So now she have paid RM500, over 90% of the total amount - yang pada asalnya RM300 JE! 2 kali swap kad bank tu.


               After the payment, dorang pun bagi kad NYSS untuk next appointment (tengok, takde pulak buat treatment tu hari ni, tak dapat pun free 1 moisturizer?!). The appointment will be after 1 week. So for the meanwhile the staff advice si kawan ni guna produk yang lama dulu, for her no point nak buat treatment sekarang kalau next appointment baru dapat the whole set product. So next time, bayar lagi baki RM80 pastu boleh buat treatment and dapat product tu sekaligus. After sign a few BnW documents, si kawan pun baliklah.


NOW.
You have paid the RM500 already. Dah jadi pun. Nak menyesal tak guna.
She has double doubt, think and think about it. Duit dah takde dalam bank! Sekelip mata je. Nak makan ape ni? Ye, sangat nasib baik duit hutang itu ini dah bayar.


Tapi.
Fikir punya fikir. Macam-macam benda baru diingat balik.
NYSS tu halal ke?
Googled.
Salah satu web... "...bagi mendapatkan kepastian anda boleh menghubungi terus ke bahagian halal Jakim di Cyberjaya di talian 03-83150200."
Call pulak tak diangkat.

Fikir lagi.
Kalau dah tahu jatuh hukum, haram. Jadi? Dah tahu for sure tak boleh buat treatment kan?
RM500 hangus camtu aje.
Hailah.

Kesian si kawan ni.
Duit RM580 dalam bank tu boleh guna macam-macam kot.
Dan dia pening lagi.
Sama ada nak teruskan atau stop aje kat situ.
Kadang-kadang fikir, biarla RM500 tu.
Tapi baki RM80 kau jangan lupa.
Detail pasal kau dorang dah tahu. Alamat, no fon.
Ok, kalau bayar semua. Pastu senyap.
Dorang akan call ke?

Ya Tuhan... aku lebih takutkan-Mu. Aku tidak mahu terputus dari mendapat keredhaan-Mu.
Aku lebih takut jika tidak mendapat keberkatan-Mu.


... Mungkin atas kecuaianku, aku tidak tekun semasa menghadap pekerjaanku, adalah penyebab hilangnya berkat dari wang ringgit itu. Semoga Tuhan menghapus dosa-dosaku yang lalu.


Menurut para ulama' maksud berkat itu adalah:-

هي ثبوت الخير الإلهي في الشيء؛ فإنها إذا حلت في قليل كثرته، وإذا حلت في كثير نفع، ومن أعظم ثمار البركة في الأمور كلها إستعمالها في طاعة الله عز وجل.

Ertinya : iaitu kepastian kebaikan disisi Ilahi pada sesuatu perkara, yang mana apabila ia jatuh kepada perkara yang sedikit ia akan menambah banyakkan ia, dan apabila ia jatuh kepada yang banyak, ia akan menambah manfaatnya, dan sehebat-hebat hasil keberkatan dalam seluruh perkara adalah apabila ia digunakan kembali untuk membawa ketaatan kepada Allah azza wa jalla.
